Understanding the Working of Air Purifiers
Our day to day activities at homes and industries come with a variety of repercussions. Among the most concerning problem is the contamination of our breathable air. The amount of noise released by the air purifier is the first thing one considers. Effective air purifiers may become uncomfortable if too noisy.
Also put into consideration the duration of time it takes before replacing parts of the purifiers. Lastly, consider how much power the air cleaner consumes as it works or on standby.
Heat is used by thermo air cleaners to remove contaminats. Working mechanism involves heating air passing through them. Bacteria, virus or fungi are killed by the heat before passing out of the cleaner. Hot air is not released immediately but released after being cooled. Dust particles settle down during cooling before air is released.
Next we have the ultraviolet air purifiers. These will have ultraviolet rays in their systems. The rays are used to sterilize any foreign material present in the air we breathe. The pollutants will not be removed entirely but inactivated such that they are harmless.
Next we have the High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance air purifiers. They work by use of trapping materials. If air is contaminated with physical contaminants such as dust, this is the ideal purifier. The cleaner traps any physical material in the air within itself. Parts of the air purifier may require regular servicing though this depends on how polluted the air is. This filter is compatible with almost all the other purifiers.
The activated carbon air purifiers come in as another type of common air purifiers. The filter uses the adsorption technique to clean air. Gaseous contaminants are adsorbed and translated to solid materials. The HEPA air purifier can be used together with this air cleaner.
